An estimated 13 billion plastic bottles (or 650 tonnes) are thrown away in the UK every year, of which only 2% get recycled. However, for every tonne of bottles recycled, 1.5 tonnes of CO2 emissions is saved. To help close the loop, and inspire higher recycling from industry, Pilot have produced the BeGreeN B2P refillable, retractable, push-button gel ink rollerball - made up 89.8% from recycled HDPE and PET plastic bottles. To highlight its origin, the pen is sculpted with a chunky translucent barrel to imitate mineral water bottles. The fine 0.7mm tip writes a 0.4mm line with acid-free blue archival ink. Manufactured in France, the pen is sold in packs of 10. Refillable with DT109BU-R.
