All the coffee is sourced from cooperatives. Local initiatives supported include the Chinchiná River Watershed protection area. 70% of the money sent to the project goes directly to the farmers who own the land, enabling them to invest in agroforestry and silvopastoral systems to increase biodiversity and connect strategy ecosystems in the area. Another 20% goes into a biodiversity fund, which helps protect the region’s incredible plant and animal life.
